Beware: Many popular consumer products and foods are loaded with brain-destroying aluminum

(NaturalNews) Aluminum. It is the most abundant metal found naturally in the earth's crust. But new research published in the journal Frontiers in Neurology warns that constant exposure to it can lead to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, which typically lead to early death.

Pharmaceutical drugs, processed foods, tap water, antiperspirant deodorants and even infant formulas all contain aluminum, say researchers. And the extreme levels to which many people are being exposed in the modern age has triggered an epidemic of brain damage and early death.

Professor Christopher Exley of Keele University, who has studied the effects of aluminum extensively, found that these everyday exposures are a major contributor to Alzheimer's, the direct effect of the metal slowly accumulating in the brain and causing neuronal damage.

A professor of bioinorganic chemistry at Keele's Lennard-Jones Laboratories, Exley refers to today as the "aluminum age," noting that modern man is now exposed to aluminum through many sources. And even though the human body is capable of eliminating it, aluminum often accumulates faster than it can be expelled, leading to brain-related illnesses.

In his latest research, Exley describes aluminum as an "ecotoxin" that very few scientists are taking seriously. Citing earlier research on the metal, including some that he helped pioneer, Exley warns that aluminum causes the most damage over time rather than acutely, which is why many scientists remain complacent about it.

When certain toxicity thresholds are reached, typically when more aluminum is being ingested than naturally expelled, disease quickly begins to manifest. But the symptoms of aluminum toxicity can vary, which is partially why it gets overlooked when coming up with a diagnosis.

But evidence shows that, in cases of dementia, sufferers typically have greatly elevated levels of aluminum in their brains. This is due to the fact that aluminum can cross the blood-brain barrier when excessive levels of it are present within the body.

"The presence of aluminum in the human brain should be a red flag alerting us all to the potential dangers of the aluminum age," said Exley. "We are all accumulating a known neurotoxin in our brain from our conception to our death. Why do we treat this inevitability with almost total complacency?"

Further details about how aluminum accumulates in the body, and why it tends to gravitate towards brain tissue, can be found in the full text of the study:
Journal.FrontiersIN.org.

Soy-based infant formulas found to contain exceptionally high amounts of aluminum

As previously mentioned, aluminum is everywhere these days. Some municipal water supplies add it in the form of aluminum sulphate to make drinking water appear clearer, and thus cleaner. Processed cookies and cakes often contain it as a raising agent as well.

Everything from food coloring, tea, cocoa, wine and sparkling beverages to toothpastes, sunscreens and various other cosmetics contain aluminum. Even popular pharmaceuticals like aspirin and antacids contain it as an additive, as do many childhood vaccines, typically in the form of thimerosal, which is roughly 50 percent ethylmercury by weight.

A lesser-known, but much more concerning, source of aluminum is soy-based infant formulas. According to the United Soybean Board, which advocates in favor of soy as a food additive, soy-based infant formulas contain high levels of aluminum because soybeans accumulate it from the soils in which they are grown.

"The [aluminum] content of a range of well known brands of infant formulas remains high and particularly so for a product designed for preterm infants," explains a 2010 study published in the journal BMC Pediatrics.

The Dirty Truth About Antibacterial Soaps

The Dirty Truth About Antibacterial Soaps

According to a new study by University of California researchers published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences , the active chemical in most antibacterial soaps, triclosan, which gives most antibacterial soaps and hygiene products their antibacterial properties causes liver fibrosis and promotes cancerous liver tumors.

What they found: Lab mice, who were fed steady levels of tricloasan for six months, developed serious liver issues, possibly by gumming up the processes by which the liver normally filters out toxins. What's worse, the researchers believe that it would probably do the same kind of damage to humans.

"Although animal studies require higher chemical concentrations than predicted for human exposure, this study demonstrates that [triclosan] acts as a ... tumor promoter and that the mechanism of [triclosan]-induced mouse liver pathology may be relevant to humans," the study concludes.

Developed for use in hospitals in the 1970s, triclosan has become nearly ubiquitous, a popular additive in soaps, shampoos, toothpastes, mouthwash, cleaning supplies, and even kitchen tools and children's toys. But in the last decade, some studies have questioned its effectiveness (one 2007 study found triclosan antibacterial soap is no more effective at killing bacteria than regular soap) while others have raised alarms about triclosan seeping into tap water and mothers' breast milk. It's been found to harm waterborne life, and interfere with the normal functioning of the endocrine system, the thyroid, and testosterone. Because of all the questions about the value of the triclosan soaps, the FDA has given manufacturers until next year to prove they do more good than harm. Until then, the researchers suggest washing thoroughly for 20 seconds or more with plain old soap and water.

"We don't see a little bit of tumors," study author Robert Tukey tells ABC News about his findings on soaps containing triclosan. "We see very full blown tumorigenesis. It's on the extreme end of a tumor promoter and it does it very rapidly."

maksud keharusan beramal dengan hadis yang dha'if bagi tujuan fadhail al-a'mal

Apakah maksud keharusan beramal dengan hadis yang dha'if bagi tujuan fadhail al-a'mal?

 Jawapan:

Eat More, Weigh Less..

Definition

Dean Ornish's Eat More, Weigh Less diet focuses primarily on eating a low-fat diet of plant products and simple carbohydrates to achieve weight loss and better health without feelings of deprivation and hunger. It also emphasizes stress reduction techniques and light exercise. Creator Dean Ornish claims that the diet could prevent and even reverse some forms of heart disease.

Origins

Ornish received his Bachelor of Arts degree in humanities from the University of Texas at Austin and received training in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Harvard Medical School. He received further medical training at Massachusetts General Hospital. While Ornish was a medical student, he became interested in heart disease. In 1978, he began doing research on patients with coronary heart disease.
Ornish created a diet that was very low in fat and completely vegetarian and studied its effects on the symptoms experienced by the patients. This was the beginning of Ornish's research on the effects of low fat, low or no-meat diets on weight loss, health, and heart disease. This original diet was the basis for his “Eat More, Weigh Less” diet, as well as his other diets.

Over the years, Ornish published numerous books and articles and expanded his diets. All of his diets revolve around the same basic principles, with additions or changes depending on a person's goals. For example, Ornish's heart disease prevention diet allows small amounts of lean meat or fish, while his heart disease reversal diet is completely vegetarian.

Eat More, Weigh Less: Dr. Dean Ornish's Advantage Ten Program for Losing Weight Safely while Eating Abundantly was published in 2001. Six years later, The Spectrum: A Scientifically Proven Program to Feel Better, Live Longer, Lose Weight, and Gain Health was published. The spectrum includes diet, exercise, stress reduction, and other factors.

As of July 2012, Ornish was a professor of clinical medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and a practicing physician. He founded and served as president of the Preventive Medicine Research Institute (PMRI) located in Sausalito, California.

Description

The main focus of Ornish's diets is eating more vegetable products and fewer meat products. The diet for people trying to lose moderate amounts of weight may permit small amounts of lean chicken or fish as well as some skim milk or egg whites. For people with higher weight-loss goals, the diet may be almost completely vegan and contain no meat or animal products.

The diet is extremely low in fat, with fewer than 10% of calories coming from fat. The strictest forms of the diet do not allow any nuts, seeds, or avocados. The only oil allowed is a small amount of fish oil each day due to its cardioprotective benefits.

Foods that are encouraged include nearly all fruit and vegetable products, especially leafy green vegetables, soy products, and whole grains. Processed and animal products usually contain many more calories and fat than similarly sized portions of vegetables, whole grains, fruits, and soy. This is the key concept of Ornish's diet—a person may be able to actually eat more and still lose weight. Eating foods with low caloric densities (calories per quantity) helps promote satiety (feeling of fullness) and prevent feelings of hunger.

The Ornish Spectrum diet expands upon the concept of the spectrum from Ornish's original diet. The Spectrum includes nutrition, stress reduction, and physical activity, as well as factors like emotional support. The Ornish Spectrum Program focuses on preventing conditions like high cholesterol and high blood
pressure, both of which increase the risk for heart disease. The Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease is aimed at slowing, halting, and reversing the progression of heart disease and other chronic diseases. Nutrition choices are more limited for people in this group because of their health conditions.

Individuals can also develop a personal spectrum plan. Objectives include losing weight, lowering blood pressure, decreasing cholesterol, or preventing or reversing the progression of conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or cancer.

SUPPLEMENTS. Ornish recommends that people take a daily multivitamin along with fish oil (if not eating seafood). People should not start taking dietary supplements without first consulting with their physician.
FITNESS. People are encouraged to do an aerobic exercise such as walking, bicycling, or swimming for a minimum of 30 minutes each day or for an hour every other day. The goal is to do three to five hours of exercise each week. People may increase the amount of time exercising and the intensity of the physical activity if they are physically able. Ornish also recommends resistance training, also known as strength training, two to three times weekly.

Function

Ornish's Eat More, Weigh Less diet and the Spectrum diet are used for weight loss and disease prevention. People trying to reverse heart disease or other chronic diseases should only undergo the diet with the consent of their physician.

Benefits

Because the Eat More, Weigh Less diet includes almost only plant products, it is high in antioxidants and fiber and low in saturated fat and cholesterol. Ornish also claims that his diet can help prevent or reverse heart disease.

Precautions

Anyone thinking about beginning a new diet and exercise plan should first consult their primary physician. Patients with heart disease or other chronic conditions should be especially cautious. Although Ornish has published data about how his diet may be able to prevent or reverse heart disease, no major dietary changes should be made without consulting a physician. Ornish's diet is not a replacement for medications prescribed by a doctor. In addition, the diet does not replace any medically recommended procedures. It is important to discuss all possible options with a physician and to make decisions based on professional recommendations.
If a person is not used to eating large amounts of fiber, additional fiber should be added to the diet slowly to avoid intestinal problems. Drinking fluids with fiber will help move the fiber through the intestines.

Risks

If people on the Ornish diet stop eating meat and animal products, they should make sure that they are still receiving enough dietary protein and other nutrients. Discussing the diet plan with a physician or registered dietitian will help ensure that nutritional needs are being met.
Because of the very low fat allowance of some versions of the Ornish diet, there is some concern that people on this diet may not get enough vitamin E.

Research and general acceptance

The benefits of any diet that is low in fat and includes many different fruits, vegetables, and whole grains are generally accepted. Ornish has led many controlled research studies to test his diet and has published the results in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of the Society of Behavioral Medicine, the Lancet, and the Journal of the American Medical Association.

In 1990, Ornish and several coauthors published an article titled “Can Lifestyle Changes Reverse Coronary Heart Disease? The Lifestyle Heart Trial” in the Lancet. This was the first study to investigate whether changes in lifestyle alone, without the use of prescription drugs, could stop the progression of, or even reverse, coronary heart disease. The patients selected to participate had severe coronary heart disease and were divided randomly into two groups: those who would follow Ornish's program, and those who would follow the usual recommendations for such patients, including moderate lifestyle changes and cholesterol-lowering medications, if necessary.

Ornish's regimen included a diet that was very low in fat and completely vegetarian. It also emphasized moderate exercise, stress-reduction techniques, and quitting smoking (if applicable). The diameter of the coronary artery was measured at the beginning of the study and again at the end of the study one year later. For people following the usual recommendations for coronary patients, the average percentage of narrowing was 42.7% at the beginning of the study and increased to 46.1% at the end of the study. For patients on Ornish's plan, the average percentage of constriction was reduced 2.2% during the period of the study, from 40.0% to 37.8%. For the patients with the most constriction, the difference was even greater.

Since the 1990 study, Ornish and various coauthors have continued to research how lifestyle changes alone can positively affect heart disease in both the long- and short-term. In 2007, he published a study in the Journal of the Society of Behavioral Medicine that found reductions in the risk factors of coronary heart disease in just three months.

Ramai LAWAN Sedikit : Bukan Ukuran Benar atau Salah.

Ramai  LAWAN Sedikit  :  Bukan Ukuran Benar atau Salah.

Ramai tidak semestinya betul. Bahkan ramai itulah yang cenderung kepada kesesatan.

 Firman Allah:

[Shahih Muslim, no. 145]

[Musnad Ahmad, no. 6650]

Malah sedikit itulah yang berupaya mengalahkan yang ramai. Firman-Nya:

[Surah al-Baqarah, ayat 249]

Staying healthy and surviving our toxic world

organic

Staying healthy and surviving our toxic world

NaturalNews) There's no question our bodies were not meant to battle the number of toxins we are now exposed to each day. The rise in cancer rates is enough of a barometer to incite fear. We can also find warning in the rise of asthma, autism, ADHD, dementias, and auto-immune diseases. So how do we survive, and better yet, achieve optimal health?

What to eat in a toxic world

First and foremost, eat organic whenever possible. This is such a no-brainer. Why would you want to add herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides to your body?

If you eat meat or dairy, remember you are eating on top of the food chain. Organic is vitally important for meat and dairy foods. If you eat conventional, you are exposing yourself to all of the toxins that animal has accumulated, which include those above plus GMOs, antibiotics, and hormones.

Do not ingest artificial chemicals. In other words, do not eat any food with artificial flavorings, colorings, or preservatives. No BHA, BHT, MSG, GMOs, or trans fats. And if you want your immune system to work right, stay away from processed sugar - all processed sugars. The bottom line is this: eat real food - unprocessed, fresh, organic, whole, nutrient dense food. The best possible diet is for 80% or more of your diet to consist of raw produce, more vegetables than fruit.

Drink clean water -distilled or spring water is best. At the very least, filter your water.
Diet is the most important factor in our survival - it is the basis of good health. Even in a cesspool of environmental toxicity (Okinawa) a good diet results in low cancer rates. Yet these same people immigrate to the United States, adopt a Western diet, and their cancer rates mirror our own.

How to cook and store food

Don't use a microwave and never cook in aluminum. Don't use non-stick bakeware of any kind. There is a new breed of non-stick pots and pans, but why risk it? Use cast iron, glass, enamel, ceramic, and stainless steel. Cast iron is the original non-stick pan. If you season it right, cast iron is always easy to clean. Even if food is glued to it, a ten-minute soak in hot water is all it takes to completely loosen the food. A quick scrub and it's clean.

Don't cook with high heat, and don't cook quickly unless you're boiling, steaming, or using a pressure cooker.

Cook with whole herbs that have superfood qualities like turmeric, ginger, garlic, onions, and oregano.

Don't cook so often. Prepare raw meals and eat lots of raw produce and big salad with the aforementioned herbs.

Store leftovers in glass, not plastic. Chemicals from plastics leach into food. And do your best to avoid buying food in plastic containers. Again, whole foods avoid the packaging issue so common to processed foods.

Don't pollute your environment

Whenever possible, surround yourself with non-toxic furnishings, carpeting, paints, etc. But since we can't always take control of what's already built in to our environment, the least we can do is avoid adding to our home's toxic load. Use natural cleaners like vinegar, baking soda, and lemons or purchase toxic free cleaners. Do not use air fresheners. If necessary, use essential oils or boil citrus peels on the stove to freshen the air.

Don't add toxins to your body through your skin

Our skin absorbs any and everything we put on it. So choose organic skin products - soaps, shampoos, conditioners, shaving cream, lotions, and make-up. Use oils for lotions (like coconut oil or almond oil).

Kill Candida and detox at least twice a year

A bi-annual detox is a necessity, even when you are living as clean a life as possible. There are just too many toxins in the food, water, and air to miss this opportunity to cleanse the body. For more on detoxification, check out Balance Your Eco-system and The Cheap and Easy Detox.

Perkenalan dan berkenalan.

Perkenalan

Saya sebenarnya agak terkejut tapi saya tetap mendengar.

Jika orang lain tahu namanya, saya tahu nama keluarganya.

Beliau menceritakan suatu malam beliau bermalam bersama Rasulullah s.a.w. Apabila Rasulullah s.a.w. bangun dari tidur, beliau segera menyediakan air untuk Rasulullah s.a.w. berwuduk serta lain-lain keperluan Rasulullah s.a.w. dan membawakannya kepada baginda. Maka Rasulullah s.a.w. berkata kepadanya: "Mintalah hajat kamu!"
Maka apakah reaksi baginda?
"Kalau begitu, bantulah aku (dengan menguasai dirimu supaya) membanyakkan sujud." Riwayat Muslim
Masyaa Allah. Itulah indahnya Islam. Indahnya akhlak Rasulullah s.a.w.

Untuk mendampingi baginda, Rasulullah s.a.w. sarankan agar membanyakkan sujud, iaitu mendampingi Allah sedekat-dekatnya.

 Mohd Hairi Nonchi

Jangan salahkan orang bukan Islam jika mereka menolak Islam ..!!!

Jangan salahkan orang bukan Islam jika mereka menolak Islam kerana:

Justeru salah siapa sebenarnya?

Many Ignore Cancer's Warning Signs, Survey Finds

Many Ignore Cancer's Warning Signs, Survey Finds

TUESDAY, Dec. 2, 2014 (HealthDay News) -- Many people ignore potential warning signs of cancer, a new British survey found.

The study involved 1,700 people aged 50 and older in the United Kingdom who completed a health questionnaire listing 17 symptoms, including 10 widely publicized possible cancer symptoms. The symptoms included unexplained cough, bleeding, or significant changes in bowel or bladder activity.

While 53 percent of the participants said they had experienced at least one of the potential cancer symptoms in the previous three months, only 2 percent thought cancer was a possible cause of those symptoms.
In many cases, people attributed potential signs of cancer to reasons such as age, infection, arthritis, cysts and hemorrhoids, according to the Cancer Research U.K.-funded survey. It was published Dec. 2 in the journal PLOS One.

"Most people with potential warning symptoms don't have cancer, but some will and others may have other diseases that would benefit from early attention," lead author Dr. Katriina Whitaker, senior research fellow at University College London, said in a Cancer Research U.K. news release.

"That's why it's important that these symptoms are checked out, especially if they don't go away. But people could delay seeing a doctor if they don't acknowledge cancer as a possible cause," Whitaker added.
"It's worrying that even the more obvious warning symptoms, such as unexplained lumps or changes to the appearance of a mole, were rarely attributed to cancer, although they are often well-recognized in surveys that assess the public's knowledge of the disease," she said.

Sara Hiom, director of early diagnosis at Cancer Research U.K., said in the news release: "Diagnosing cancer early saves lives because it gives patients a better chance that treatments will be successful."
