Today marks the 45th anniversary of the death of a great man. On February 21, 1965, El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, better known as Malcolm X was assassinated in New York.
His death was a tremendous loss for many communities, especially the Muslim community in America & the West.
Although Malcolm died 45 years ago, his ideas, ideals, and inspirational struggle still impacts us all. May Allah shower him with mercy and be pleased with him.

"Nobody can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice or anything. If you're a man, you take it."
